Track copies, condition and variants
Record what is in your collection without mixing a card identity with the condition or variant of a particular copy.
Identify the printing first
Look up the Pokémon or card name, then confirm the expansion and card number. The printing is the catalogue identity; condition and variant describe the copy in your hand.
Count copies honestly
If you own several copies of the same printing, use quantity rather than marking the card several times. Split copies into separate groups when their condition or variant differs.
Use condition as your own record
Condition is a description you enter for your collection, not a professional grade. Recheck the card before a trade or purchase decision. A price shown in the catalogue is reference data from a market source, not a buy or sell offer.
Keep a backup
An account saves your collection across devices, and the app can export a JSON backup. Export after major changes so your copy and variant notes are recoverable.
