Pokémon card binder simulator

See any Pokémon TCG set laid out in a real binder before you sleeve a single card. Pick a set and a pocket size, then turn the pages: you see exactly which card lands where, how many pages and sheets the set needs, and which binder it fits.

How many cards fit in a binder?

Binder pages hold cards on both sides, so one sheet is two pages. A 9-pocket page holds 9 cards; a sheet holds 18.

Pockets per pageCards per sheet20 sheets40 sheets
4 (2×2)8160 cards320 cards
9 (3×3)18360 cards720 cards
12 (4×3)24480 cards960 cards

A ring binder takes extra sheets as the collection grows; a zip or stitched binder has a fixed number of pages, so check the count before you buy.

Laying out a set

Most collectors keep a set in card-number order, so the main set fills the first pages and the secret rares, illustration rares and galleries follow. In a 9-pocket binder, start each set on a right-hand page if you want its first spread to open cleanly. Sorting by Pokédex number instead keeps evolution lines side by side. For a master set with reverse holos, plan two pockets for each card that has one.

Every set also has a full checklist with prices, and every Pokémon a card list of its own. For the full story, read the guide to planning a Pokémon card binder.
