Pokémon pack opening simulator

Open virtual booster packs of any Pokémon TCG set, from Base Set to Delta Reign. Each pack follows its era's real layout and pull rates, so you can see what a pack, ten packs or a whole booster box usually holds before you buy one.

The odds for this set

How the odds work

The Pokémon Company does not publish pull rates. For the Mega Evolution sets and 30th Celebration the simulator uses TCGplayer's measured rates: their Authentication Center opened thousands of packs per set and counted every hit. For older sets it uses each era's typical pack (how many commons, uncommons and reverse holos, and how often the rare slot holds something better) with community estimates of the odds, which come from smaller samples. The odds panel under the simulator says which applies to the set you chose.

Eras covered: Wizards of the Coast era, e-Card era, EX era, Diamond & Pearl and Platinum, HeartGold & SoulSilver, Black & White, XY, Sun & Moon, Sword & Shield, Scarlet & Violet, Mega Evolution, plus Celebrations and 30th Celebration. Promo sets, trainer kits and McDonald's collections were not sold in booster packs, so they are left out.

Every pack is random, like a real one. Opening a whole virtual box many times gives a feel for the spread: some boxes are generous, most are average, a few are poor.

Pull rates by set

Every set's odds on one page: each rarity per pack and per 36 packs, the chase cards, and what the packs are worth.
